Topic: House sales hit 16-month high
Some 85,000 homes were sold in the UK during the month, the highest monthly figure since July 2010 when 89,000 properties were sold.
The total marks an increase of 6,000 homes on October this year and is also a rise of 9,000 sales compared with the same period last year.
