Topic: Tennessee housing market sees marginal gains

Tennessee's housing market improved marginally in the first quarter of 2011, according to a report by Middle Tennessee State University's Business and Economic Research Center.

Housing construction was stable. Home sales rose slightly. But overall, the housing market remained in neutral as other sectors of the economy outpaced it in terms of improvement.

It is not really surprising if housing construction had been stable for more and more people these days tends to build a house based on a custom house plan they like or the design they want rather than buying a ready made house.
