The local new-homes market was firing on both cylinders in April, with single- and multi-family starts both up from a year earlier, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. said today.
The biggest improvement was on the multi-family side, where there were more than five times as many starts as in April 2010 — 100 units versus 19.
