Topic: House prices drop for second month
House prices in England and Wales fell for the second month in a row during October as buyers continued to stay away from the market, figures have showed.
The drop of 0.8%, which left the average home costing £165,505, was four times the 0.2% decline recorded during September, said the Land Registry.
