Topic: Wales meets affordable housing goal a year early
The Welsh Assembly Government has met its goal of creating 6,500 affordable homes between April 2007 and March 2011 a year early, figures reveal.
According to official statistics published yesterday, the number of new and refurbished homes made available to the affordable housing market in Wales between April 2007, when the administration set out its future housing commitments, and March 2010 totalled 6,707.
