Latest figures from HM Revenue & Customs demonstrate the overall slowdown in the UK housing market, with the number of completed sales of homes worth £40,000 and above at 79,000 in October.
The total showed a 1,000 increase on September but was down by 10,000, when compared to a year earlier.
