October home sales plunged in South Florida and across the state as recent foreclosure freezes have temporarily reduced the number of properties available to buyers.
Broward County posted 598 sales of existing homes last month, down 28 percent from a year ago October and 11 percent from September, the Florida Realtors said Tuesday.
