Charlotte-area home sales fell again in October, the latest reminder of the challenges still facing the local economy.
About 1,700 houses, townhouses and condos sold in the Charlotte region last month, down 23 percent from October 2009, data released Wednesday from the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association show.
