Home hardware and renovations company Rona Inc. (RON-T13.25-0.18-1.34%) missed expectations as it earned $50.2-million in the third quarter but sales fell slightly amid waning consumer confidence.
The Quebec-based company said its net earnings grew by 2.2 per cent for the period ended Sept. 26, but were unchanged at 38 cents on a per share basis.
