Topic: Wisconsin foreclosure filings reach record high
After teasing for much of the summer that it might be lessening, the foreclosure crisis reasserted itself in September, setting a one-month record for filings in Wisconsin.
A preliminary count by Madison-based ForeclosureAlarm.com shows there were 2,942 foreclosure filings, up about 5% from 2,803 in September 2009.
