Seattle home prices crept up 0.1 percent in March compared with February, while the 20-city home price index slipped 0.5 percent, according to the latest Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller report.
Seattle prices were down 3.6 percent from a year earlier, while nationally, home prices were up 2.3 percent.
